The objectives of PPG:
– Demonstrating the technology of extraction and purification of eggshells from local egg companies in a pilot production.
– Development of functional formulations based on PHA and ESP derived from eggshell waste for 3D Printing and possible extended applications (e.g., injection-moulding / extrusion).
– Validating and demonstrating that ESP/PHA formulations are functional and can be manufactured in filament production line as a viable market acceptable product.
– Pre-market validation of ESP/PHA filament with intended customers with strong needs in Eco-friendly printing materials.
